I know what your saying, Usropean; [Uz-rope-e-an] isn’t a real word. Not yet, it isn’t. With your help we are going to make Usropean as common and ubiquitous as words like milk and coke or travel. Of course your going to have to share this post with all the people you know if that is going to happen, so get with it now.
While your working on your plan of attack to share this, I will explain what Usropean travel is.

I am blessed, I know it. I have met people all my life who say to me, “Your so lucky to be able to travel so much”, or “I wish I could travel as much as you”, or “All those beautiful European cities are awesome, I wish I could go to them”. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy my travels, but extensive travel is not all that exciting, at least not during the travel portion of the trip, but once you get there; thats a different story. By reading my blog you may get the impression I travel outside of the U.S. most of the time, but that is not true. The majority of my travels are located right here in the U.S.

Like I said, I am a lucky guy, I know it. Not everyone is in a position to experience world wide travel, I get that. But what about those people who tell me how great it would be to travel to European Cities. I was thinking, why don’t they? Why not create your own European trip right here in the United States?
How would you do that you ask? Did you know that there are dozens of cities in the United States that are sister cities to European Cities? So if you want to go to London, there is a London in Arkansas, California, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas and West Virginia. Or maybe you would prefer Moscow, well good news, we have a Moscow in Idaho and Tennessee. How about Venice, Florida; Madrid, Missouri or perhaps you might like Berlin North Dakota.

Amsterdam Netherlands or Amsterdam, Missouri? |
I know what your thinking, how silly. But is it really. What a memorable trip you can plan by visiting places in the U.S. While creating a destination list that looks like a European destinations list. In fact in Arkansas alone you can visit London, Paris, Stutgart, Hamburg, Dover, Exeter and Plymouth. That is 3 different countries all in the same state. Georgia is loaded with places like Athens, Bristol, Lyon’s, Oxford, Rome, Vienna and so many more, 8 countries are represented in Georgia alone.
So what are these cities like you ask, let’s look at a few pictures of both cities.

It’s true that Venice, Italy is most likely not exactly the same as Venice, Florida. However it is quite interesting how much they have in common Canals, Boats, Water and Pasta. So when your planning your next vacation don’t be afraid to plan Usropean destinations.
Let’s start the trend of Usropean travel. It starts with you!
